NitroCapt and De Verband

NitroCapt, an Uppsala-based agtech company, has entered into its third off-take agreement, this time in in Luxembourg through a partnership with DE VERBAND S.C., a leading agricultural cooperative in the country. The agreement covers future deliveries of SUNIFER®, NitroCapt’s low-carbon nitrogen fertilizer, representing a significant milestone in the company’s international expansion.

NitroCapt’s patented, fully electrified production process removes the need for fossil fuels in nitrogen fertilizer manufacturing. By enabling a fully electrified pathway to nitrate-based fertilizer, NitroCapt offers both a low-carbon and high-value fertilizer.

“Our collaboration with DE VERBAND marks another important step in accelerating the green transition in the agricultural sector across Europe. Their commitment to reducing greenhouse gases aligns closely with our mission, and we are proud to be part of their sustainability efforts,” says Gustaf Forsberg, CEO of NitroCapt.
